Home Health Aides in Palm Beach County

Quality Care - The Unified Pledge Way!

The largest difference between care provided by a Home Health Aide vs. a Homemaker Companion is that the Home Health Aide can actually provide physical assistance with Activities of Daily Living, Take Vitals (blood pressure,) and Administer Basic Medications.  They have state certification training requirements that must be met in order to perform these duties.

What doesn’t change having assistance from a Home Health Caregiver or Companion is that most people prefer maintaining their current lifestyle out of the comfort of their own home.  As we progress through retirement, that can become difficult for some of us without the benefit of a helping hand around the house.  Home Health Aides are there to provide the right assistance for you or your loved one in order to maintain independence at home! This comes at a fraction of the cost compared to moving into an independent or assisted living facility.  At Unified Pledge Home Health, we strive to ensure that our clients are able to achieve these goals!

Who Can Benefit from Home Health Aide Services

  • People of any age requiring physical assistance with activities of daily living due to temporary or permanent conditions.

  • Those requiring someone to assist with basic medication administration, mobility devices, recording of fluid, taking vitals, and other similar tasks to improve their quality of life.

  • Individuals recovering from illness or injury, potentially post-hospital stay, that require some supervision, progress monitoring, or physical assistance.

What to Expect from a Home Health Aide

In addition to being able to perform all duties that are offered by a Homemaker Companion, below is a sample list of services that you can expect from our Home Health Aides:

  • Assistance with all Activities of Daily Living such as: Bathing, Dressing, Eating, Transferring, Toileting, and Continence.
